Mary Pat is about the toughest broad you’ll come across, either in fiction or in person, and heaven help you if she bumps into you in the street. My advice: run. I was just explaining to a friend about how I haven’t read anything really good lately, the kind of book that you fall asleep reading it, then wake up the next morning and can barely wait for the coffee to brew before picking it up again. That’s this book for me right now.
